To give added confidence, they are qualified by the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) the lead qualifying body for Architectural Technology, which sets the standards for professional conduct for those practising or studying in the discipline. Only Chartered Members of CIAT are permitted to use the designation MCIAT and the protected descriptor Chartered Architectural Technologist.
